Who We Are
Our Mission: The conservation of the Angeles National Forest, including the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument, to protect and enhance wildlife habitats, clean air, clean water, natural and cultural resources, while encouraging multiple uses and sustainable recreation.
Our Vision: We share a common vision of the Angeles National Forest as a thriving natural landscape of open spaces, healthy and adaptive ecosystems and watersheds, habitat connectivity and multiple uses enjoyed, valued, and supported by the diverse Southern California community.

How We Work
- Engage people to strengthen their connection to open spaces;
- Collaborate with civic and business leaders to build strong coalitions to support the ANF Land/Resource Management Plan;
- Facilitate meaningful and rewarding projects for volunteers and youth–to–land conservation work crews;
- Educate using outdoor and digital interactive education and interpretation aligned with standards-based K-12 content;
- Create Access through collaboration with urban transportation systems, digital guides and interactive maps;
- Support Sustainable Recreation by diverse communities including supporting culturally important, and multiple uses;
- Raise additional funds to meet high priority needs by expanding existing relationships and creating new partnerships;
- Manage programs and projects that support our Mission and the implementation of priority ANF and Monument projects.
